An Introduction to Therapy and Wholehearted Living

Therapy is a place to move gently through what feels heavy, confusing, or overwhelming. I help clients navigate experiences that touch the deepest parts of who they are, including:

Core Areas of Support

  • Grief and complicated grief

  • Trauma and PTSD

  • Nervous System Repair

  • Pregnancy/Perinatal loss (miscarriage, stillbirth, infant loss, tfmr)

  • Reproductive decision-making, medical uncertainty, and genetic considerations

  • Anxiety, panic, overwhelm, and trauma responses

  • Highly sensitive traits (HSP)

  • Body based coping patterns such as eating disorders, over-control coping

  • Major life changes that leave you feeling unsteady or alone

  • Relationship challenges and Attachment patterns

These moments can reshape your sense of self. You don’t have to face them without support.

Specializations
My training draws on evidenced-based approaches that center on compassion, embodiment, and emotional integration, including:

  • Trauma Therapy

  • Somatic, Polyvagal Therapy

  • Emotion-Focused Therapy and Parts-Informed work

  • Acceptant and Commitment Therapy (ACT),

  • Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)

  • Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT)

  • CREDO CBT-E (for Eating Disorders)

  • Schema Therapy

  • Mindfulness-based & compassion focused therapy

  • Pregnancy/Perinatal and Infant Loss Training

Even in a world where painful events are inevitable, and certain factors are out of our control, making changes to the way we relate to ourselves and our lives can pave the way to wholeness and healing.  Authenticity uncovers the Soul Story.
